Kharidar is one of the popular and prestigious job of the Nepal. Lok Sewa Ayog (Public Service Commision Nepal) conducts the exam for Kharidar post in Nepal. One can take exam in either Nepali or English. The exam is conducted in three level, Kharidar first paper, Kharidar second paper, Kharidar third paper. The first paper consists of multiple choice question whereas In second and third paper, you have to give written exam (subjective). In addition to this you must have basic computer skill, Nepali typing and final Interview will be taken.
The selection for kharidar is done in two ways i.e. Open competition and Promotion. In open competition all the eligible for this post can apply compete with each other and best one will get the job. In promotion system the employees working in the nearest lowest position within the group can get the job.

Kharidar Salary in Nepal
The salary of kharidar is 28,610 according to the new salary scale. The previous salary scale was 26,610.
Kharidar Qualification
To be qualified for applying for kharidar in Nepal you must be eligible in following things given below.
- passed SLC/SEE from any recognized institute of Nepal
- Must score at least 2.0 GPA in grading system
- Must be at least 18 years old and at most 35 years old( 40 years old in case of female and disabled people)
